Job summary

LEGO Group in Monterrey is seeking a Sr Accounting Specialist to own key General Ledger activities for US and Canadian legal entities during a six-month assignment. You will drive month-end close processes, provide analysis and ensure accurate financial reporting within the BSO team.

The role emphasizes development, collaboration and delivering reliable financial information, with a hybrid work rhythm and support from a global team across Monterrey, Prague, Singapore and China.

Qualifications

• Prepared data and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Oversed month-end close activities and related accounting deliverables.
• Managed General Ledger processes in a Finance function or similar role.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office tools at an advanced level.
• Experience with an enterprise-wide accounting system, preferably SAP or BlackLine.

Responsibilities

• Control balance sheets and P&L for US and Canadian entities.
• Oversee month-end close activities and ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide financial data, analysis and practical business insights.
• Support external auditors and Tax team with necessary information.
• Review GL differences and follow up on reconciliations.
• Contribute to the GL priorities in the LEGO tactical implementation plan.
