Sokin is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Mexico to own the full software lifecycle, from design to production, with backend focus and frontend contribution. You will collaborate with PMs and designers to shape features, drive performance, and uphold high standards.

You will work with Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and SQL, building scalable services for a payments platform while mentoring peers and advocating for best practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience managing development and operations with focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset for improvements, optimizations, and innovations.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other team members in a senior role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Own the full lifecycle of software engineering, from design to production and maintenance.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and cross-functional teams to shape feature requirements.
• Lead architectural decisions ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Drive monitoring, alerting, and support processes for reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and foster ownership and accountability.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and security standards.
• Address production incidents and continuously improve resilience.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack apps using Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular and SQL databases.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and apply beneficial technologies.
