Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own production reliability on a high-scale live hiring events platform serving enterprise clients.

You will diagnose and resolve issues across distributed backend systems built on Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, while collaborating with Client Support and GTM teams to maintain SLA compliance. The role requires rapid execution, strong React frontend experience, and the ability to own multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend: Java + Spring Boot (primary) and Python + Django (secondary).
• Frontend: React expertise.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, SQL and/or MongoDB.
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and own production issues.
• Experience with Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
• Strong debugging and data-analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues for live events platform.
• Diagnose problems across distributed systems and event workflows.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM to triage tickets.
• Ensure timely issue resolution per SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts.
• Update event logic as platform integrations evolve.
• Contribute to architecture improvements and scalability.
• Own merges, deployments, and production changes.
• Support and onboard additional engineers.
• Provide technical leadership across projects.
