Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Guadalajara, Mexico seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own production reliability for a high-scale live hiring events platform.

You will diagnose issues across distributed backend systems built on Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, while collaborating with Client Support and GTM teams to maintain SLA compliance. The role requires rapid execution, strong React frontend experience, and ownership across multiple concurrent projects with opportunities to mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development with Java + Spring Boot (Primary).
• Strong backend development with Python + Django (Secondary).
• Strong frontend experience with React.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and own multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues for live hiring events.
• Diagnose problems across distributed systems, integrations, and event workflows.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and resolve tickets.
• Ensure timely issue resolution according to SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts and performance issues.
• Maintain and update event logic as dependencies evolve.
• Own code merges, deployments, and production changes with minimal supervision.
• Support and onboard additional engineers as the team grows.
