AlertMedia is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer with full-stack experience to design and build features for the Mass Comms product. You will work across Python, Elixir, JavaScript, Next.js, and React, using AI-enabled tools to improve development and productivity.

You will collaborate within an Agile team, contribute to architectural evolution, and help ensure high-quality code through unit and integration tests while communicating effectively with engineering and product teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering)
• 6–8 years of experience building scalable web applications
• Experience with Linux-based containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar storage tech
• Ability to write unit and integration tests
• Active user of AI tools to enhance engineering
• Collaborative mindset with leadership to guide architectural evolution
• Strong communication and ability to work across teams
• Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken)

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop features for the AlertMedia Mass Comms product
• Learn the AlertMedia platform and its customer use cases
• Work with Python, Elixir, JavaScript, Next.js, React and other web technologies
• Use AI-enabled tools to support development and productivity
• Work in an Agile environment with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Slack
• Contribute to architectural decisions and innovative technology use
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to communicate clearly
