AlertMedia is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering, to lead the Intelligence Center development team. You will oversee design, development, and operation of intelligence-focused products, and manage engineers across multiple disciplines.

The role emphasizes hands-on Python/Django/Next.js/React/Node coding, AWS experience, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The position is remote in Mexico, requires a technical degree and leadership experience, and offers

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as CS/CE or related
• Experience leading and managing a team of engineers
• 5+ years building scalable applications with modern frameworks (React, Django, Node) and integrations
• Experience with Amazon AWS
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
• Proficiency leveraging AI tools for product development
• Excellent written and spoken English required

Responsabilidades

• Oversee design, development, deployment and operation of intelligence-focused products
• Manage the professional development and technical direction for a team of engineers
• Collaborate with product management, customer support and operations teams
• Contribute to coding in Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node for high-quality integrations
• Drive adoption of AI tools in product and development lifecycle
• Participate in Agile development using Git, JIRA, Jenkins and Slack
• Communicate effectively across teams and uphold AlertMedia’s culture and vision
