Job summary

Auction Technology Group is expanding its team in Guadalajara, Mexico, seeking an experienced Front-end Software Engineer to join a collaborative agile team delivering high-value features for a high-transaction e-commerce web application. You will work with Product and Design to enhance customer experience, own the features, and contribute to scalable, accessible interfaces.

You will collaborate with teammates, contribute to the design system, and write tests to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Expert level in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS).
• Expert level in React.
• Experience with React Testing Library/Jest
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with AB Testing
• Experience with front-end performance
• Experience with building for different audiences e.g. internationalization, accessibility
• Interest in learning new technologies such as AI “prompt-driven development” and languages as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Help drive the creation of clear stories and acceptance criteria.

As a front-end software engineer at ATG you will be a part of a collaborative agile team that is focused on delivering high value, high-performance, and features to our customers through a high-transaction e-commerce web application. You will work closely with Product and Design representatives to make significant enhancements to our site that will improve customer experience. Your team will be expected to take ownership of the products you work on and actively embrace improving how you achieve outcomes.
