Confiz Limited in Monterrey, Mexico seeks an experienced Software Engineer III – Frontend to support high-traffic ecommerce applications, focusing on frontend development with JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js and TypeScript.

You will design scalable frontend features, collaborate with Product and UX, integrate with RESTful APIs and occasionally contribute to backend services in Java, while building tests and contributing to CI/CD.

Formación

• 5+ years of frontend professional experience.
• Strong hands-on with JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with backend languages such as Java, Golang or Python.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and reusable components.
• Experience with automated testing and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Playwright or similar testing tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility and secure coding.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch).
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer III – Frontend to join our engineering team, supporting high-traffic, customer-facing e-commerce applications.

In this role, you will focus primarily on frontend development, building scalable, reliable, and high-performance web experiences across Checkout and Wishlist platforms, with occasional backend development using Java.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX, and Engineering, to deliver innovative solutions that improve customer experience, conversion, and overall platform performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, and TypeScript.

• Deliver end-to-end frontend features, from technical design and implementation to production support.

• Build reusable UI components and contribute to shared frontend libraries.

• Translate business requirements, wireframes, and UX designs into high-quality, production-ready code.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and occasionally contribute to backend services using Java.

• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end tests.

• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

• Optimize application performance, accessibility, security, and reliability.

• Monitor application health using observability tools, metrics, dashboards, and alerts.

• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to ensure seamless integration across platforms.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining code quality.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, and TypeScript.

• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Golang, or Python.

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, reusable components, and software design patterns.

• Experience implementing automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright or similar tools.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.

• Understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility, and secure coding practices.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk, or AWS CloudWatch.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
