ATG in Guadalajara, Mexico is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design and implement scalable Go-based services powering our global auction platforms.

You will build high-performance microservices, work with MySQL/RDS, Redis, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable features at scale.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ops teams to improve observability with Dynatrace and ensure high availability for millions of users worldwide.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Go production experience building scalable services.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL/RDS) and schema design.
• Knowledge of caching with Redis and data modeling.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Go-based backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build and optimize high-performance microservices for real-time bidding and transactions.
• Define data models in MySQL/RDS and ensure data integrity.
• Implement Redis caching to reduce DB load and improve performance.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and automated tests.
• Add observability using Dynatrace and monitor system health.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps to deliver features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Debug production issues and ensure high availability.
