Job summary

Thomson Reuters Foundation is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer AI to own the client architecture for streaming agent interactions in our legal AI tools. You will ship scalable UI features from React UI to production, with a focus on fast, responsive experiences during complex drafting tasks.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and the Labs team to turn early AI concepts into robust, production-ready features while mentoring peers and shaping the overall front-end

Qualifications

• 4+ years of front-end engineering experience, with React and TypeScript in production.
• Hands-on with AG-UI or similar agent-UI protocols and SDKs.
• Strong on SSE events and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
• Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines for web apps and automated testing.
• Ability to model complex async client states and deliver reliable front-end systems.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered front-end systems turning event streams into fast UIs.
• Shape front-end architecture with cross-functional teams.
• Productionize AI capabilities; manage CI/CD pipelines and tests.
• Collaborate with labs, product managers, and designers to ship features.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and shared components.
