Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Finance Specialist - FP&A Operations to partner across Commercial Finance, FP&A, and Digital teams, ensuring governance, reporting, and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes data analytics, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration to support transactional and project-based businesses.

The position involves monthly close, forecasts, budgets, and strategic support, with emphasis on governance, risk, and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Accounting, or related function.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Commercial Finance governance across Transactional and P&ES businesses.
• Maintain Commercial Finance tools, standard work, policies and trainings.
• Support DOA, credit risk governance, and related governance processes.
• Partner with Regional ITR Finance to drive compliance and improvements.
• Support core FP&A operating rhythms: monthly close, pacing, forecasts, Budget, LRF, LTS.
• Prepare financial analysis and reporting for performance reviews and decision making.
• Partner with FP&A and business teams to deliver timely insights and support.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools with Power BI, Tableau, AMP, and other tools.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and projects as priorities evolve.
