Job summary

The Senior Financial Analyst at Rockwell Automation supports forecasting and analysis for ITD and SWC reporting, reporting to the Finance Manager within Global Analytics (GA&I). You will partner with segment finance teams and FP&A to develop plans, forecasts, and provide insights that guide strategic decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years FP&A experience, English proficiency, and Oracle EPM/SAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of FP&A experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Understand core FP&A processes (forecasting, reporting, ad hoc analysis).
• Process improvement focus and ability to standardize processes.
• Experience with Oracle EPM and SAP.
• Ability to drill down into financial results and derive insights.
• Work across time zones, businesses, and departments to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze orders and quantity reporting; provide insights into performance and drivers.
• Develop SBU and Regional mix analyses for forecasting and performance reviews.
• Perform OCOS actuals causal analysis; identify drivers, risks, opportunities, variances to plan.
• Review, process accruals and prepaids; post journal entries and balance reconciliations.
• Lead special accrual reporting and balance reviews; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support close activities with financial analysis and internal controls compliance.
• Contribute to Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts.
• Create ad-hoc analyses for business inquiries.
• Align GA&I teams to drive standardized global processes.
