Job summary

Rockwell Automation, a global technology leader, is seeking a Senior FG Planner-Buyer to support multiple distribution centers worldwide. You will plan and purchase goods and services, monitor inventory levels, and drive on-time delivery to meet production schedules.

The role requires developing supplier plans, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Hybrid work model, travel to Rockwell sites and supplier locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial Engineer, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, or relevant field required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Advanced level of English.
• Demonstrated understanding of MRP, inventory, and production principles.
• SAP/ERP experience; Certified Supply Chain Professional certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop supply and inventory plans to support customer demand and our goals.
• Manage purchase orders, forecasts, and replenishment strategies with global suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Monitor supplier performance, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), lead times, confirmation rates, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
• Analyze demand, supply, and inventory data to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Lead resolution of material shortages, past due orders, excess inventory, and supply disruptions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering teams to support new product introductions, product transitions, and ongoing production requirements.
• Improve supplier accountability through regular business reviews, escalation management, and continuous improvement programs.
• Evaluate inventory strategies and recommend actions to improve service levels while optimizing working capital.
• Maintain planning parameters, supply chain metrics tools to support operational decision-making.
• Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Forecast Reviews, and Supply Reviews to align demand and supply strategies.
• Support contract negotiations and supplier agreements by providing planning, inventory, and operational insights.
