With 10+ years of hands-on flavor creation and fully certified flavor chemist credentials, you will mentor juniors and collaborate across cross-functional teams while adhering to Mexican and international

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of flavor creation and development experience across beverage, sweet goods and dairy.
• Fully certified flavor chemist credentials (e.g., Society of Flavor Chemists) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of food science, aroma molecules, natural extracts, and flavor manufacturing processes.
• Experience identifying, characterizing, formulating and matching flavor materials using analytical and sensory evaluation techniques.
• Knowledge of Mexican and international flavor regulations and compliant materials.
• Ability to manage multiple customer/internal projects with quality and timelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to explain technical info clearly.
• Foundational leadership with mentoring or developing junior flavor professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design and formulate market-leading flavors for food and sweet applications.
• Develop and optimize flavor profiles for beverage, sweet goods and dairy.
• Lead creative projects from concept to launch with customers and timelines.
• Apply analytical data, sensory science and technical expertise for flavor development.
• Ensure flavors meet regulatory requirements in Mexico and internationally.
• Collaborate with Applications, R&D, Marketing, Sales and Operations for project execution.
• Mentor junior colleagues and share technical knowledge and industry insights.
• Partner with global teams to leverage new technologies and strategic flavor opportunities.
