Jala University is seeking a senior software engineer to design Course 1 end to end for a FinTech Engineering Specialization taught in English, focusing on the card payment ecosystem, instant rails, ledger architecture and regulatory compliance by design.

The role targets backend engineers who want to produce production-grade content, with direct LatAm fintech experience, and the ability to author labs, exercises and examples in Go and TypeScript/Node.js. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Direct professional experience at a payments fintech operating in LatAm.
• Masters Degree in Computer Science or related.
• 5+ years software engineering, 3+ years in FinTech/payments.
• Public writing samples showing technical explanation.
• Reproducibility discipline (pinned dependencies, containers, seeded runs, documented decoding parameters).
• Able to write examples, labs and exercises in Go and TypeScript/Node.js.
• Production mindset: design what engineers build in real systems, not academic exercises.

Responsabilités

• Ensure content covers card payments, instant rails, ledgers and regulation.
• Draft technical materials and examples in Go and TS/Node.js.
