Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead Financial Analyst to bridge cloud finance, accounting, and AI-driven cost oversight within the TCO Agent Platform. You will supervise month-end closings, validate automated JEs, and ensure accurate cloud billing and credit amortization.

You’ll lead cost allocation across 40+ cost centers, support quarterly re-forecasts, and work with FinOps leadership to enforce robust SOX-adjacent controls while communicating complex issues clearly to engineers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
  • 5+ years of relevant analytics, corporate accounting, FinOps, or TBM experience in a multi-cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and authorize batches of draft journal entries from automated systems, aligning with cost centers and GL accounts.
  • Compare raw cloud billing against invoices and apply amortization schedules for credits.
  • Administer allocation methods across 40+ cost centers and implement re-classification directives.
  • Coordinate quarterly re-forecasting at org-space level with Finance and Engineering teams.
  • Cross-check journal entries and cost center sums against legacy and new systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure SOX-adjacent controls.

Job description

Our team is looking to welcome a Lead Financial Analyst into the fold. In this capacity within the TCO Agent Platform, you'll act as the connective link between cloud finance functions, accounting practices, and AI-driven cost oversight. Partnering closely with the Financial Operations Agent, Commitment Optimization Agent, and FinOps leadership, your duties will span running month-end closing cycles, checking automated journal entries for accuracy, tracking promotional credit amortization, examining allocation variances, and confirming cloud provider billing accuracy.
