Job summary

Advanced Energy in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to analyze and report on complex financial information, plan and project financial results using advanced financial theory and ERP systems, and mentor junior analysts.

You will support the Annual Operating Plan, provide monthly forecasts, and present findings to senior management while building cross-functional partnerships across Operations and General Accounting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with all functional organizations and all levels of personnel.
• Tailor financial information for various levels of the organization.
• Prior experience with a Financial software package, preferably an integrated ERP system.
• Excellent PC skills including advanced proficiency in MS-Office, primarily Excel and Access. General knowledge of database applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and provides insightful financial information to support central finance and senior management.
• Assists the Finance Manager in preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly financial foreasts.
• Provides financial analysis to support monthly operational reviews with line organizations.
• Provides a guiding role for the department’s financial analysts/cost accountants in developing and maintaining PC-based analytical tools.
• Develops successful working relationships with other AE departments, including but not limited to Operations and General Accounting
• Conducts special projects which provide creative and insightful interpretation of business issues from a quantitative standpoint.
• Conducts regular presentations to management.
• Acts as a contact for both internal and external audit.
