Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Senior Field Sales Engineer to strengthen its Energy Process market presence in Mexico. You will combine technical knowledge with strategic account development, building relationships and driving revenue through consultative selling.

In this role, you will analyze customer processes, identify value-adding opportunities, and develop technically and commercially compelling proposals while managing negotiations and advancing opportunities across the full sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of commercial experience in technical/industrial B2B sales.
• Strong experience with heat transfer technologies and/or fluid handling applications.
• Experience managing medium to large commercial projects.
• Industry exposure to Oil & Gas, petrochemical, chemical and/or mining.
• Advanced English skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer needs and buying behavior to align sales plans with strategy.
• Maintain market presence through regular customer visits and technical-commercial discussions.
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, generating leads and converting opportunities.
• Manage and grow your assigned customer portfolio and territory.
• Build relationships across levels within customer organizations.
• Develop technically and commercially competitive proposals communicating value of Alfa Laval solutions.
• Lead commercial negotiations and progress opportunities through the full sales cycle.
• Collaborate with internal resources to craft the right solution for customers.
• Maintain accurate CRM data to support planning and decisions.
• Develop opportunities toward broader customer solutions beyond single equipment sales.
