QAD Inc. is seeking a fully remote Senior ERP Support Engineer in Mexico to deliver expert support for QAD and Progress databases.
You will diagnose complex issues, manage escalations, and contribute to global knowledge sharing while ensuring quality and timely resolutions. Responsibilities include installations, upgrades, configurations, and Progress DBA tasks, with collaboration across R&D and Product Management and participation in rotating shifts and on-call coverage to support a global
Formación
- Experience supporting enterprise ERP products and handling high-priority cases.
- Debugging Unix/Windows, networks, and internet environments.
- Progress DBA tasks: backups, optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with QAD product installation, configuration, and administration.
- ERP system installation, upgrades, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Responsabilidades
- Diagnose and resolve complex ERP issues and inquiries.
- Ensure seamless installations, upgrades, and configurations of QAD products.
- Perform Progress database tasks including backups, restores, and optimization.
- Create and maintain detailed issue resolutions; develop training materials.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to devise solutions.
- Work in 24/7 support with shift rotations and on-call coverage.
