QAD is seeking a Senior ERP Support Engineer to deliver exceptional technical support for QAD and Progress databases. This fully remote role in Mexico involves diagnosing complex issues, performing database tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop training materials for global use.
You will manage escalated cases, implement installations and upgrades, and contribute to knowledge bases while supporting customers, partners, and internal teams around the globe.
Formación
- 3-4 years of enterprise product support experience.
- Strong problem-solving, able to handle high-priority cases.
- Proficiency debugging Unix, Windows, networks.
- Programming knowledge in C, C++, Unix scripting.
- Experience with Progress DBA tasks and SQL.
- Experience with ERP installations and administration.
Responsabilidades
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues for QAD and Progress products.
- Ensure installations, upgrades, and configurations run smoothly.
- Perform Progress DBA tasks including backups and performance monitoring.
- Maintain detailed issue and resolution documentation for reusable solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management and support teams.
- Contribute to 24/7 shift rotations and on-call coverage.
