Vertiv seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work in a multi-disciplinary team on high-performance, cost-effective product designs for global markets. You will own electrical feature design, assembly dimensioning, and create essential documentation.

Responsibilities include collaborating with controls engineering, suppliers, and regional teams, ensuring compliance with UL/CSA/IEC standards, and delivering on time within cost and quality targets.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Alternate: bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years of electrical design experience.
• 4+ years working as Electrical Design Engineer.
• Experience with electrical components and devices (wires, contactors, VFDs, fuses, transformers).
• Experience on Chillers or HVAC products for Data Centers is a plus.
• 4+ years of CAD experience.
• Creo is desired.
• Experience Electrical Schematics (Creation and sustaining).
• Experience with international electrical regs and standards (UL, CSA, IEC, IEEE).
• Experience with UL/CSA 60335-2-40 or UL 1995/CSA C22.2 is a plus.
• Experience with PLM and PDM tools.
• Result oriented, team player, detail-oriented, proactive.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high-performance, cost-effective design and innovation.
• Design electrical features and dimension principal parts of assemblies.
• Create and review product documentation (drawings, specifications, BOMs).
• Create design solutions for special products.
• Collaborate with Controls Engineering on control connection guides.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and regional colleagues.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues on CWS products.
• Meet cost, quality, environment, and execution time objectives.
