Vertiv is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Monterrey to lead the design and release of CRAC products. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process, and production teams to ensure design integrity, cost targets, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in new product development, strong CAD skills (CREO 4.0+), and the ability to mentor peers while delivering high-quality engineering solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of career experience in new product development as an individual contributor.
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently and as a member of a dynamic team.
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
• Demonstrated history of delivering quality products to market with understanding and respect for phases of the product development process.
• Excellent project management skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD software, CREO 4.0 or greater preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC (NFPA70), IEEE 519, UL 508A SB.

Responsabilidades

• Design new CRAC products and lead multi-discipline collaboration for reviews and cost targets.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, process, and production teams to meet customer needs.
• Perform engineering calculations to verify design requirements.
• Create and review electrical layouts, components, and schematics using CAD tools and PDM/PLM systems.
• Develop BOMs and product definitions to support reuse, manufacturing, quality, and service.
• Lead engineering tasks for projects and guide junior engineers to meet timelines.
• Develop controls with software teams and support lab testing and prototypes.
• Participate in DFMEA and cost-reduction initiatives.
