Vertiv Group Corporation seeks an Electrical Engineer to drive the release of CRAC products. You will work in a cross-functional development group and lead engineering tasks while guiding other engineers in a dynamic environment.

You will design, verify, and document electrical systems, participate in cost reviews, and support manufacturing and service teams with field issues and DFMEA activities.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in new product development as an individual contributor.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently and as a member of a dynamic team.
• Demonstrated history of delivering quality products to market through the product development process.
• Excellent project management skills and communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD software, CREO 4.0 or greater.
• Knowledge of NEC (NFPA70), UL 508A.

Responsabilidades

• Design new computer room air conditioning (CRAC) products.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, process engineering, production and offering teams; assist design reviews and cost metrics.
• Perform engineering calculations to verify design requirements.
• Create and review electrical box and panel layouts and component selections per codes.
• Select electrical components, instrumentation and control devices.
• Design/revise CAD for electro-mechanical assemblies and wiring diagrams using a PDM tool.
• Develop BOMs and PLM product definitions to support reuse and manufacturing.
• Develop solutions to complex problems where little precedence exists.
• Implement product changes to solve field issues and support service.
