Job summary

FORVIA HELLA, a global automotive supplier, is seeking a senior EHS professional to oversee environmental health and safety programs across its sites in Mexico. You will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our EHS management system, ensuring legal compliance and safety excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least 5 years of EHS experience, with strong leadership, analytical skills, and proficiency in safety software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in EHS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in safety data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the company's EHS management system across locations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and corporate EHS requirements.
• Identify hazards, assess risks and implement preventive actions.
• Lead accident and near-miss investigations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, contractors and visitors.
• Coordinate emergency response plans, drills and evacuations.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, audits and compliance reviews.
• Monitor CAPA plans and ensure timely closure.
