Job summary

The EHS Manager role at FORVIA HELLA is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's EHS management system across all locations in Mexico. You will ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate EHS requirements and drive continuous improvement.

You will lead risk assessments, conduct investigations of accidents and near-misses, deliver training, coordinate emergency response plans, and oversee audits and corrective actions in a large-scale manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EH, safety management, environment or engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• EHS background required.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Excellent command of data analysis and performance metrics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the EHS management system across all locations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate EHS requirements.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Lead accident and near-miss investigations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, evacuation procedures, and business continuity activities related to safety.
• Conduct routine inspections, risk assessments, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
• Monitor corrective and preventive action plans and ensure timely closure.
