Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Sr. Edge Platform Support Engineer to manage the ELERA platform and edge infrastructure powering Produce Recognition and Loss Prevention solutions.

You will ensure reliable deployment, configuration, and operational support across fleets. Responsibilities include automation, incident management, 24x7 coverage on a rotation, and collaboration with AI/ML, computer-vision teams, and customers during store installations and upgrades.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computing, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, platform operations, or production support.
• Strong Linux, scripting (Python, Bash) and automation experience.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Solid SDLC, Git, testing, release & change management knowledge.
• Experience supporting production systems.
• Cloud platforms, networking & device connectivity troubleshooting.
• Advanced English skills.
• Willingness to travel & flexible work schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Manage firmware, application packages, and config updates across fleets.
• Maintain fleet-wide version compliance across environments.
• Ensure device connectivity and secure communication between devices and cloud.
• Execute configuration changes at scale via automation/orchestration tools.
• Provide 24x7 operational support on a rotational basis.
• Lead/participate in incident triage, RCA, and post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and customers to restore service quickly.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and utilities.
• Collaborate with AI/ML and computer-vision teams on edge devices.
• Assist in troubleshooting AI-driven edge applications.
• Support store installations & customer/business partner calls.
