Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer in Mexico to tackle complex infrastructure challenges and improve engineering practices for large-scale environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure dependable, automated, and secure development operations. The role focuses on migrations, automation, and robust engineering processes with a strong emphasis on GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GEI migrations, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps role.
• Experience guiding development teams.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud migrations using GEI.
• Background with GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows, including self-hosted runners, secrets, and permissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform migration efforts with minimal team disruption.
• Develop automation to ensure reliable deployment cycles.
• Troubleshoot issues across build, release, and integration processes.
• Configure access permissions and security across development platforms.
• Design scripts and internal tooling to reduce manual operations.
• Collaborate with engineering to assess infra needs and improvements.
• Monitor system health and performance to head off failures.
• Document processes, configurations, and migrations for shared learning.
