EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer in Mexico to architect and automate cloud-native recovery platforms built on GKE and image factories.

This role will coordinate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform, and ensure robust secrets management and identity integrations. You will work with cross-functional teams on recovery architecture, failover planning, and secure infrastructure practices, with a focus on scalable, automated recovery and cross-cloud readiness.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a Platform Engineer.
• At least 1 year leading or managing development teams.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong experience with GKE/Kubernetes, Terraform, and Vault.
• CI/CD automation experience using Jenkins and related tools.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilités

• Architect and automate recovery platforms on GKE, including image factories and CI/CD pipelines.
• Set up secure secrets management and identity integrations for systems dependent on AD.
• Assist with cross-organizational database recovery, Cloud SQL restores, and backup verification.
• Build foundational automation for greenfield environments, including provisioning domains and credential sanitization.
• Collaborate on recovery architecture design, failover planning, and isolation patterns.
