Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the shared DevOps team supporting a Medtech sector project. The role focuses on building and maintaining resilient cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and secure delivery workflows across distributed systems.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and advanced CI/CD practices, with strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or comparable engineering role.
• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core cloud offerings
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Skills in Kubernetes operation, deployment, and cluster fundamentals
• Background in building and sustaining CI/CD pipelines
• Competency in scripting with Bash
• Capability to ensure observability and resolve issues in distributed systems
• Understanding of messaging, databases, storage, and security supporting services
• Strong communication skills and fluent English

Responsibilities

• Automate SDLC workflows, including infrastructure provisioning, environment deployment, and CI/CD pipeline automation
• Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS leveraging a broad range of services
• Manage and run Kubernetes clusters, guaranteeing reliability and scalability
• Build and sustain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
• Develop and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps
• Implement GitOps-driven application deployments via ArgoCD
• Ensure observability and resolve issues across distributed systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enable dependable and efficient delivery workflows
• Maintain security, networking, and access management throughout cloud environments
