Job summary

Nodi is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to lead a real-time data platform powering self-service analytics and data agents. You will architect a lakehouse from the ground up, land data from a wide range of sources, and design streaming ingestion that scales with business needs.

You will mentor engineers, balance hands-on work with strategic platform decisions, and collaborate with AI/agent teams, application developers, and product stakeholders to expose curated data securely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, designing and operating production data platforms and pipelines.
• Must have production lakehouse experience on Fabric or Databricks, with real-time ingestion design.
• Experience leading and mentoring data engineers and shaping governance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build real-time streaming ingestion and lakehouse layers (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Land data from diverse sources (databases, SaaS, files, events, APIs) into Bronze and Silver.
• Deliver curated data products with governance and security considerations.
