Job summary

N-iX is hiring a Data Engineer to help power a multi-country cloud analytics platform for fintech solutions across Latin America. You will leverage SQL, Python, Snowflake, and dbt to build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines, enforce data quality, and collaborate with BI and data science teams to deliver trusted data assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Eng, or related field.
• 3+ years in data engineering, warehousing, or software engineering.
• Strong SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Python and data quality testing.
• Git versioning and CI/CD in DataOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake with dbt.
• Implement data quality tests and automated validation checks.
• Ensure code is version-controlled and integrated into CI/CD workflows.
• Monitor multi-country ingestion and transformations; resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and business analysts to model data.
• Create and maintain technical docs, data dictionaries, and lineage.
