BairesDev is seeking a Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake) / Senior Data Engineer (GCP, Python) to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for enterprise analytics in a 100% remote role.

You'll collaborate with product and engineering teams, implement ETL/ELT workflows, and ensure data quality across cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. Proficiency in English is required; remote work from anywhere.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Proven expertise in designing streaming data pipelines and robust ETL/ELT workflows.
• Solid understanding of workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer and data modeling for analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Architect and optimize robust ETL/ELT workflows utilizing cloud-native services and orchestrators.
• Develop and optimize high-performance data models tailored for downstream analytical use cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate diverse datasets and establish data quality standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve pipeline performance to guarantee efficiency and reliability.
