Nimble Gravity, LLC seeks a Senior Data Engineer to architect and implement scalable data pipelines for a modern data mesh. You will lead Snowflake platforms, design semantic layers, and drive AI-ready data capabilities across on-prem and cloud sources.

You will mentor a junior engineer and collaborate with analysts to deliver robust, self-service data products. Prior experience with dbt, Azure, and AWS is a strong plus in a fast-paced data-driven environment.

Formación

• 5–7 years of dedicated data engineering experience.
• Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data sharing.
• Experience moving data across hybrid environments (on‑prem to cloud).
• Experience with semantic layers (dbt Semantic Layer, Snowflake Cortex/Semantic definitions).
• Strong Python skills in cloud environments and SQL capabilities.
• Exposure to dbt is highly preferred; Azure Data Factory is a strong plus; familiarity with AWS data ecosystems.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch, streaming, and event-driven data movement.
• Own Snowflake data platform architecture, performance tuning, and storage structures.
• Build semantic models and data inputs for AI features and self-service data products.
• Create robust reference architectures, templates, and CI/CD practices for decentralized teams.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a junior data engineer and analysts.
