Inmar Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Data Governance team in Monterrey, Mexico. You will be responsible for building automated frameworks to enforce data governance policies and standards, ensuring data is properly classified and secured.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python, SQL, and cloud data pipelines. Strong leadership skills for mentoring engineers are essential. This is an office-based position requiring fluency in English.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience (6–8+ years).
• Advanced experience with Python.
• Strong expertise in SQL and large datasets.
• Experience with cloud data pipelines, Airflow, dbt, or similar tools.
• Experience implementing governance capabilities across cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Deep understanding of metadata, lineage, data quality, classification, access controls, and ownership.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build automated frameworks for data governance policies.
• Lead implementation of enterprise metadata standards.
• Design workflows for sensitive data detection and classification.
• Support implementation of RBAC and governance reporting.
• Establish engineering standards and mentor engineers.
