Job summary

Wizlynx Group is seeking an (Senior) Cyber Security Consultant & Penetration Tester in Mexico. The role involves hands-on testing across networks, web and mobile apps, wireless, APIs, and IoT, beyond automated tools, to find vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance.

You will lead engagements, document findings, and support pre-sales efforts, requiring strong English and Spanish communication. A bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years security experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of security experience in analyst/engineer/consultant roles with 6–12 months in penetration testing.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux/Mac/Windows OS, Bash and PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute network, web, and mobile app penetration tests across complex environments.
• Keep up-to-date with security trends, tools, and offensive techniques.
• Document and report identified vulnerabilities with detailed remediation guidance.
• Act as a pre-sales consultant, assessing client needs and helping with proposals.
