Job summary

EX Squared LATAM is seeking a Senior Digital Forensics, Incident Response & Threat Hunting Specialist to support cybersecurity operations within a complex, global environment. You will report to the client’s security team and play a hands-on role in incident response and threat hunting.

The position covers SOC operations, incident response, forensic analysis, vulnerability identification, remediation, and security monitoring, with 10-hour shifts and a hybrid model primarily in Mexico City or

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Cybersecurity Operations/Incident Response experience.
• Direct experience participating in security incident investigation and response.
• Hands-on exposure to threat hunting and security monitoring activities.
• Experience supporting or performing forensic analysis during security investigations.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities and insecure configurations and supporting remediation.
• Experience implementing or working with Incident Response processes and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cybersecurity operations, investigate incidents, contain and remediate threats.
• Investigate security alerts to determine scope, severity and impact.
• Conduct threat hunting to identify hidden threats and anomalies.
• Support forensic analysis during investigations to determine root cause.
• Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation actions.
• Develop, implement and improve incident response playbooks.
• Configure and monitor security tools, alerts, dashboards and reporting.
• Apply threat intelligence to monitoring and investigations.
• Document findings, evidence and remediation actions clearly.
• Stay current with evolving threats and security practices.
