Job summary

Daimler Financial Services Mexico is seeking a Senior Lawyer to ensure compliance with Mexican laws and Daimler governance standards. The role supports M&A activities, regulatory inquiries, and day-to-day corporate legal matters within the Daimler Trucks group.

Collaboration with Treasury, Finance and Accounting is essential to provide practical legal guidance, while handling routine inquiries and document flow. Strong English and law background required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in Law and 3 years of experience.
• Proficient English.
• Specific knowledge: Mexican Corporate Law, basic Notary Law.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support and guidance, under supervision by Legal Manager.
• Maintain corporate books and records to ensure full compliance.
• Coordinate shareholders’ meetings, board meetings, and corporate resolutions.
• Support internal and external corporate audits with documentation and timely responses.
• Review and manage powers-of-attorney and related corporate documents.
• Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings as needed.
