Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cost accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls are effective.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax filings.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A Master's degree and/or CPA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience in multinational companies or with complex international financial structures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Mexican Financial Reporting Standards.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, management, and team-building skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with SOX compliance is a plus.
