Job summary

Salesloft in Guadalajara is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own significant areas of our cloud-native security posture, drive detection and incident response, and help secure AI-driven systems at scale. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Guadalajara as needed, with a focus on hardening AWS/GCP, threat modeling, and secure-by-design practices across the platform.

You will collaborate with Platform Engineering, IT, and Security to raise the security bar company-wide and protect

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in security engineering for cloud-native platforms.
• Hands-on with AWS or GCP, including infrastructure hardening.
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, detection and incident response.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming for security tooling.
• Experience with IaC and policy-as-code for enforcement.
• Exposure to AI/ML security and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve security posture across cloud, applications, and data.
• Threat-model new systems and features with security by design.
• Drive detection, investigation, and response for security events.
• Harden cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) via code and config.
• Assess and secure AI/ML systems and data flows.
• Partner with engineering and IT to remediate vulnerabilities and raise security bar.
