Salesloft, Inc. in Guadalajara, Mexico is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to protect our cloud-native platform and customer data. This hands-on, high-ownership role focuses on securing infrastructure, applications, and data at scale.

You will threat-model new systems, harden environments in AWS or GCP, drive detection and incident response, and partner with engineering to bake security in from the start. The position is hybrid and requires on-site presence in our Guadalajara office as needed.

THE OPPORTUNITY

At the company, our Senior Security Engineers protect the platform and the sensitive revenue data thousands of enterprises entrust to us. You will own significant areas of our security posture — hardening our cloud infrastructure, driving detection and response, and building the controls that keep customer data safe at scale.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership security role. You will secure a modern, cloud-native platform end to end — threat modeling new systems, hardening infrastructure, responding to incidents, and partnering with engineering to build security in rather than bolt it on. As our AI footprint grows, you will help define how we secure AI-driven systems and the data behind them.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Own and improve significant areas of the platform's security posture across cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.

• Threat-model new systems and features, partnering with engineering to build in security from the start.

• Drive detection, investigation, and response for security events, and strengthen controls based on what you learn.

• Harden cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and drive secure configuration through infrastructure- and policy-as-code.

• Assess and help secure AI/ML systems and the sensitive data that flows through them.

• Partner across engineering and IT to remediate vulnerabilities and raise the security bar company-wide.

We are looking for an experienced security engineer who can own real areas of a cloud-native platform's security and work hands-on across infrastructure, detection, and response. You think like an attacker and build like an engineer.

You embody what we call Evidence Over Ego — you prioritize based on real risk and threat data, verify that controls actually work, and are candid about where the gaps are. You think in systems and build for durability.

This is the right role if you want to protect a platform at the center of enterprise revenue.

THE TEAM

The the company Security organization protects the platform, the company, and the sensitive revenue data our customers entrust to us. The team blends deep security expertise with strong engineering, working closely with Platform Engineering, IT, and Infrastructure.

The team Moves as One — security, engineering, and infrastructure share ownership of the company's security posture and coordinate directly. And we are relentlessly Customer Inspired: our customers' success is the only scorecard that matters, and everything the team does exists to justify the confidence customers place in us with their most sensitive data.

THE SKILL SET

• Strong experience in security engineering, ideally securing modern cloud-native platforms.

• Hands-on expertise with cloud security (AWS or GCP), including infrastructure hardening and secure configuration.

• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, and detection and incident response.

• Proficiency in a scripting or programming language used to build security tooling and automation.

• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with engineering to build security in.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code for security enforcement.

• Exposure to securing AI/ML systems, data pipelines, or LLM-powered features.

• Experience with application security and secure SDLC practices.
