Job summary

Freudenberg in Querétaro, Mexico, is seeking a Chemist Process Engineer for MCU to develop polyurethane recipes and support production. You will work with development chemists to implement improvements, reduce scraps, and lead new training while ensuring raw material quality and MCU lab management.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree, 4+ years experience in microcellular urethane and manufacturing, plus advanced English and knowledge of automation and ISO/quality standards.

Qualifications

• Chemical Engineer or similar degree required.
• Minimum 4 years in microcellular urethane and manufacturing processes, preferably automotive.
• Experience with assembly and automated stations, PLCs, Robots or Cobots.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, Core Tools, AMEF; ISO 14001/50001/45001 knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced English required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop polyurethane recipes for MCU.
• Provide technical support for production processes.
• Control and update technical documents and specs.
• Collaborate with Development Chemists to implement improvements.
• Reduce production scraps and waste.
• Lead and train new employees in chemical process areas.
