ALTEN Mexico is seeking a CFD Analyst to contribute to an Iron Air Battery project. The role is remote with a strong focus on flow and heat-transfer simulations using ANSYS Fluent or STAR-CCM+.

You should have 5+ years in CFD/thermal-fluids and a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree, plus English at B2–C1 level. You will develop CFD models for scrubber systems, assess flow, heat transfer, and support design iterations, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration within an

Formación

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years CFD or thermal-fluids analysis experience.
• Hands-on CFD software experience (ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+).
• Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Mesh generation and turbulence modeling experience.
• Experience with flow distribution and pressure drop analyses.

Responsabilidades

• Develop CFD models for scrubber vessel concepts, integrated ducting, and piping.
• Assess flow rate, pressure drop, flowback risk, and thermal impacts.
• Support altitude and cold-weather design assessments.
• Perform design iterations and recommend geometry changes.
• Document model setup, mesh independence, results, risks, and validation needs.
