ALTEN Mexico is seeking Mechanical Design Engineers to contribute to the Iron Air Battery project. You will create 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and releases, while pursuing cost-reduction concepts and manufacturability improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on SolidWorks experience with production releases.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, and EC.
• 2+ years (junior) or 4+ years (mid) mechanical design experience.
• Experience from concept to detailed design, verification, release, and production support.
• Experience with PLM systems (TeamCenter, Windchill).

Responsabilidades

• Create and revise 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering releases.
• Develop cost-reduction concepts while maintaining requirements and interfaces.
• Perform packaging, tolerance, fit, form, and manufacturability assessments.
• Resolve nonconformities and field issues through root-cause analysis and design revision.
• Support design reviews, supplier coordination, prototype evaluation, and validation planning.
