Job summary

Bluelight is seeking a Business Analyst to translate client problems into clear, buildable requirements. You will sit between clients, product, and engineering to run discovery, map processes, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensure what we ship solves the intended problem.

You will work across a mix of client builds, client maintenance engagements, and Bluelight's internal products, helping scope and estimate new projects while coordinating with UI/UX in Figma and ensuring QA

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role on software projects.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand goals and pain points.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, rules, and data definitions.
• Break down scope into epics and stories for accurate estimation.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to groom the backlog ahead of each sprint.
• Coordinate with UI/UX in Figma to ensure flows match requirements.
• Support QA with acceptance criteria translating to test coverage.
• Assist with client demos and user acceptance testing.
• Keep requirements organized in Google Drive with rationale.
