Bluelight is seeking a Business Analyst to turn business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You'll sit between clients, our product team, and engineers: running discovery, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring what we ship solves the problem.

You'll work across client builds, maintenance engagements, and Bluelight's internal products, and you'll play a key role when new projects are scoped and estimated.

Formación

• 3+ years in BA or similar on software projects.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile.
• Lead discovery sessions and turn ambiguity into requirements.
• Skilled in process mapping and data modeling.
• Hands-on Jira; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs.
• Excellent English; able to lead U.S. stakeholder meetings.
• Technical literacy for talks with engineers about APIs and databases.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand goals.
• Document current and future state processes and business rules.
• Break scope into epics and stories for engineering estimation.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and open questions early.
• Write user stories with acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with Product Manager to prioritize and groom backlog.
• Coordinate with UI/UX in Figma to align flows with requirements.
• Support sprint demos and user acceptance testing with clients.
• Keep requirements docs organized in Google Drive.
• Ensure compliance, security, and audit requirements are captured.
• Act as point of contact for scope and requirements questions.
• Translate between business and technical stakeholders.
• Surface scope changes early and explain tradeoffs.
