Bluelight seeks a business analyst to translate business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You'll sit between our clients, our product team, and our engineers: running discovery, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and making sure what we ship actually solves the problem it was meant to solve.

You'll work across a mix of client builds, client maintenance engagements, and Bluelight's internal products, and you'll play a key role when new

Formación

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar on software projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in agile/Scrum.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level.
• Hands-on Jira experience; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable leading client meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
• Exposure to regulated domains (SOC 2, fintech, education) and API/integration discussions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand goals and pain points.
• Document current and future state processes, rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Break scope into epics and stories for engineering estimation in Jira.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and open questions; drive resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Backlog grooming with the Product Manager ahead of sprints.
• Coordinate with UI/UX in Figma to ensure flows match requirements.
• Answer engineering questions; keep requirements current as decisions are made.
• Collaborate with QA to translate acceptance criteria into test coverage.
• Support sprint demos and client user-acceptance testing.
• Organize requirements docs in Google Drive; capture decisions and rationale.
• Capture compliance, security, and SOC 2 considerations upfront.
