Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience with ownership of complex production systems
• Strong Python and AWS skills in a multi-service SaaS codebase
• Experience with production debugging, reliability, and security considerations
• Ability to evolve services in live environments with minimal disruption
• Independent delivery with clear communication in a small team

Responsabilités

• Improve Python backend services, REST and GraphQL APIs, and shared libraries
• Ensure context is carried across APIs, jobs, scheduled tasks, and event flows
• Harden authentication, session handling, and request-routing logic including edge functions
• Design and optimize asynchronous processing and data pipelines with retries and backfills
• Implement modernization work in collaboration with senior engineers
• Develop automation for testing, deployment checks, and safe changes
• Troubleshoot integration issues across services and data access layers
• Adapt third-party integrations (SSO/OAuth, email, push, SMS, secrets) across environments
• Expand automated testing and monitoring to protect customer experiences
• Instrument production behavior and simplify legacy paths
