TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to join our Core Digital Engineering team. You will design, build, and evolve backend services powering ViX and other global products used by millions across the Americas.

You will drive scalable distributed systems, resilient microservices, and cloud-native apps, collaborating with product, architecture, DevOps, SRE, QA, security, and other engineering teams to raise the bar on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Formación

• 6+ years of backend experience with production systems.
• Distributed systems and scalable service-oriented architecture expertise.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or similar language; REST/gRPC APIs.
• Cloud deployment in GCP/AWS and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID/DDD and architectural patterns.
• Experience with databases, caching, messaging, and observability.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices.
• Develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
• Write clean, well-tested code with unit/integration tests.
• Design distributed systems for high traffic, low latency, high availability.
• Improve platform observability, logging, monitoring, tracing, metrics.
• Lead technical initiatives, review code, mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, QA, Security, and SRE.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Drive platform modernization and resilience improvements.
• Provide production support and incident analysis.
