Coforge is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Websites Engineering Team, driving scalable backend services with API-first design and microservices. The role focuses on building high-performance, observable systems that handle large traffic while ensuring security and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend experience, proficiency in PHP (Symfony/Laravel), Node.js (Express/NextJS), AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and DataDog observability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on large-scale systems and microservices.
• Experience with PHP and web frameworks like Symfony or Laravel.
• Experience in the Node.js ecosystem and frameworks including Express, NextJS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Docker/Kubernetes, including production deployments.
• RESTful API design, PostgreSQL and MySQL, caching and messaging systems.
• Observability solutions (DataDog) and DevSecOps practices in CI/CD.
• End-to-end testing with Cypress or Playwright.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with a lead engineer to design and develop high-performance, API-based backend services that scale to meet business needs.
• Own the health and uptime of business-critical systems and participate in on-call rotations.
• Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define requirements and design scalable, maintainable systems.
• Champion CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security practices across the development lifecycle.
• Modernize legacy services using contemporary architecture patterns and documentation for internal/external use.
