Coforge is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Backend) with 10+ years of backend experience to design scalable, cloud-native systems on AWS. You will own backend architectures, lead API-driven services, and mentor engineers while modernizing legacy stacks.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years of backend software development experience
• 3+ years architecting cloud-native AWS solutions (EKS, RDS, MSK, S3, Lambda)
• Strong system design skills with trade-off evaluation and documentation
• RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and gRPC design experience
• Relational and NoSQL data stores (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) and caching (Redis)
• Observability with DataDog/OpenTelemetry
• Secure API design, data encryption, IAM, OAuth2/JWT, RBAC
• DevSecOps practices including CI/CD and IaC
• Excellent communication and leadership, mentoring engineers

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive scalable back-end architectures across platforms and integrations
• Lead design and development of high-performance API-based services meeting SLOs
• Promote engineering best practices for system design and operations
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to align backend strategies
• Mentor engineers and foster department-wide technical excellence
• Treat components as products with strong DX and documentation
• Modernize legacy systems and upgrade technology stacks
• Contribute full-stack work when needed to integrate UIs with APIs
• Participate in on-call rotations and postmortems for reliability
